Offensive Magic Building Investigations Summary

Mar 09, 2009 10:36

Just wanted to let you all know, I've sent a summary of what I've discovered on campus to my parole officer. I'm hoping the cavalry shows up soon, or at least that some of the restrictions get taken off my parole so I can investigate further or intervene, but one never knows with bureaucracy. To save typing, I'm just pasting it here so you all know ( Read more... )

Wow, I had no idea that the investigations had found so much material already. As for my investigation... well.. I... sort .. of... forgot.. about ...it... for...some reason [bows head in embarrassment].

I think I'm going to have to reread your report for the details.

Don't worry about it-- this kind of thing is my job. I mean, my real job-- the one that keeps me out of prison. Teaching just pays the bills.

[laughs at "the one that keeps me out of prison"] You know.. if I wrote a report like this it probably would have been so short and incomplete. The investigating part is fine.. but te report writing would get me.

Practice, practice, practice.

I'll bet Charles could help you. He seems like a thorough sort.

Awww, how come I don't get my name included? *feels left out*

I don't think you have to worry about the headmaster though, he's really cool! I don't think he'd have anything to do with turning his students into squirrels - if anything, he encourages us to use our brains and think for ourselves, and to investigate when something seems wrong.^^

Is there anything else I can do to help, Professor Ash? I wanna help~~~^^

Stay tuned-- I'm working on the next phase of plans now. I think I'll post something this evening. Sorry I didn't include your name-- I didn't want to get Charles in trouble in case my parole officer said I was going too far.

Squirrels. I should have thought of that. That would certainly explain why there were only little piles of clothes laying about. Not the dust, though.

I should get those ID's I got out of the clothes to you so you can use your resources to see who those people in that village were- something unique, or just ordinary citizens.

As for the further revelations by your ghost- "U.S. Army" is not good. Whoever is in there either has the ability to swipe US Army equipment (which isn't all that hard, depending on what you're going for,) or they are Army, and god knows what incredible portmanteau of military tech and magic they're attempting to assemble. The Army is a very broad category of above-and-belowboard activities; there's no telling what they're doing.

We need to be careful.

"We need to be careful."

No arguments here! Hence my levels of decision involving the next step.

I'll head back out to that village tomorrow night and retrieve some evidence without entering the village via "accio" spell. That should be harmless enough. I should see if Lil's available to escort me-- there are some spirits out there that are quite a bit beyond me in my present state.

Squirrels are tasty. I'd bet ones who are actually human smell different.
