The Tower may have fallen, but the root of the problem seems to still be thriving. Some of the following are optional, as with the previous omens installment; a couple of them aren't as kind.

OPTIONAL EFFECTS - you can choose to have your characters affected by one/more/all of them from now on:
  • ghost pains, ( Read more... )
  • plot cookbook, just as unplanned

    / SEES THIS HAND

It really might depend on what ends up being played out in the future. There is nothing in the forest that'd kill them at this time, other than other forest animals + the underground beauties. But whether the pets get lost, or attacked by any of the other wildlife members is up to you.

This will probably not be helpful, but - it depends on the outcome of the event!

Sadly, that doesn't apply to that set of characters but thank you for asking, we forgot to mention them!

For dead characters (whether City!dead, or having arrived dead) that traded to have their lives returned:

It's midnight and I'm brain-dead: What does it mean by "traded to have their life returned"?

Characters can undertake deity trades to regain their 'lives' - the heart beat, proper body warmth and, depending on whether they are dead in their canons or whether they died in the City, the ability to return home. If they died within the City and traded to have their lives returned, characters can allegedly still hope to leave back to their worlds at some later time. If they were dead in their own canons, the deities make no guarantees of their ever leaving the City.

The price for this kind of trade tends to run pretty heavy, though. On the plus side, a character can pay the price for another (provided all parties are agreed on it OOCly)!

You can read more about trades here and you can OOCly arrange a trade (for, well, anything, not just a life ) here.
