The documentary about a famous photographer who does shootings at the trouble spots.

There are some favorite quotes:
"To give so much of yourself you have to be single-minded. And Jim is single-minded".

"Lonely... because of this gap experience..."

"When you become up-close, a picture turns out to be personal".

"Fear isn't what important, but how you deal with it. I channel all my feelings to the pictures".

"If everyone could see and be there just once, they would understand that it shouldn't have happened even with one person, especially with thousands of people... But everyone can't go there, that's why photographers go there... they make pictures powerful enough to inspire others."

"The worst thing is to feel that as a photographer I am benefiting from someone else's tragedy. This idea owns me. That's what I have to reckon every day...because, I know if I ever allow a general compassion to be overtaken by my personal ambition I would have sold my soul".

P.S. The second time I watch and the second time all words echo somewhere inside. They are right words. By some reason I know what it means to have a gap experience, be single-minded and channel all feelings to work. It's interesting how sometimes you could be aware and share feelings of someone who is doing another job and living a really different life. This innate sensing of others make us much closer than we seem to be at first sight.
