Okay, so Maggie Molly O'Dair, the bonnie wee lass o' Hogwartshire. She's a witch, as I recall, which naturally means she ends up going to Hogwarts when she's old enough, which Finnick still thinks is kind of stupid because boarding school will always be baffling to him, but Ginny is all about this and it's going to be VERY EXCITING and Maggie is smiling and happy too, all save for the part about being secretly terrified that she's not going to get into Gryffindor and thus disappoint her whole family back a thousand generations.

Predictably, because I am a sadist, she ends up in Hufflepuff. To which Ginny is silently like BUT GRYFFINDOR and Molly Weasley looks forlornly at all her scarlet yarn and is silently like BUT GRYFFINDOR and Finnick is like "Hey, that's the badger one, right? Badgers are pretty vicious, man, I wouldn't want to tangle with a badger. Good on you, kiddo!" and everyone is kind of grateful for Finnick's flagrant ignorance because they're all secretly disappointed but his cheerfulness about it is saving them all, big time.

Also predictably, it takes the professors at school exactly two seconds to figure out that OH HEY THIS KID IS A WEASLEY and some of the more douchebag profs are like HAHAHA, A WEASLEY NOT IN GRYFFINDOR? and Maggie just sort of trucks along doing her thing because, you know, she's actually pretty happy as a Hufflepuff? And everybody's so uptight about this whole house sorting thing, and she really just wants to go to school and be a witch, thank you, so can we please leave the politics out of it.

Further still predictably, her first crush is on a Slytherin named Altair. Luckily, despite his excellent posturing, Altair happens to be a delightful fluke just like Maggie and is, in fact, the one and only Slytherin in the entire school who is actually not a complete jerkwad, despite acting that way because it's the only way you get by in a house like Slytherin. So then all of Ginny's side of the family is like WHOA NELLIE NO and all of Altair's family is like WHAT WEASLEY NO and Finnick is like look I don't really care who you are or where you're from, if you approach my daughter in any way without her explicit consent I'm going to kill you.

(And then he slips her the equivalent of a couple Galleons and tells her to go have a good time and remember how he taught her the right way to break a boy's arms if he does anything untoward.)
