THE NEXT GENERATION MEME
Which still has nothing to do with Star Trek. Shush.

Appearance/Description: More like her mother than her father (to Finnick's somewhat relief), and she missed out on the famous sea-green eyes, but her smile is a pretty good imitation of her dad's and she's got some of his bronze in her long dark hair, which tends to come out in streaks when she spends too much time in the sun. She did, however, get his body type--very tall, very lean, and perhaps regrettably for a growing girl, with basically no curves to speak of.
Personality/Temperament: Hilariously, she's as much of a prude as her parents aren't. Just because she knows all about stuff like that and accepts that it's perfectly normal and healthy doesn't mean she likes talking about it, god, you guys. She's friendly enough without quite making it into extroverted, and tends to be fairly independent; she has friends, but she doesn't rely on them, and most of the time she could be just as happy on her own as she could within a group. She takes after her father in that she loves to swim, and she thankfully gets her taste in music from her mother so she listens to something more than ridiculous 90's boy- and girl-bands.
Circumstances of Conception: It's Finnick and Angela. It's not like it'd take much. And while the baby perhaps is not precisely what you might call anticipated prior to conception, they both agree to keep it because the alternative...actually, no, they pretty much agree the alternatives are beyond discussion. So! Bouncing baby on the way. (Finnick hopes it's a girl.)
Three Random Facts:
▶ Like Angela, Pearl got to pick her own name when she was old enough to understand it, which had Finnick worried for a little while because her favorite food as a kid was crab, and so there was a distinct possibility she might dub herself "Crab" and roll with that for the rest of her life. (She was just that kind of kid, he could already tell.) Luckily, she took to Pearl, which was an affectionate pet name he'd already called her anyway (and part of her mother's name, too), though she added Sunfish herself.
▶ At times, she's actually the most responsible member of the household, which is really sad. With both her parents being such relatively free spirits, she's sort of adapted to be very down-to-earth by comparison, and she's not nearly so bubbly or enthusiastic as they are. A nice sedate lifestyle is just fine with her, thank you, and no, she's really not interested in being the belle of the ball or the center of attention or being allowed to try weed with her friends if she wants, Mom. Actually, she's just going to go look for some shells down by the beach, thanks.
(Finnick never lets on how much he secretly approves of this attitude in his daughter, but it warms his heart to see her with absolutely no interest in turning out anything like him.)
▶ Despite what you might think, given her relatively prudish nature, she actually can't stand the color white. Eggshell, ivory, various vaguely tinted neutrals, she doesn't mind as much. But just plain white? Ugh.
