Last night could've gone ... better for my candidate. To say the least. She edged out a win in Indiana and lost handily in NORTH Carolina

The unity ticket's an interesting idea -- but given the kind of campaign she's run against him, I wonder if it would be disingenuous for her to sign on for that. She might still have designs on 2012.

I hope you don't mind me popping in here. I ran across your journal, and since I had such an interesting read I decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity to leave a comment.
Onwards to my point, in a perfect world, Obama would extend the offer to Clinton to serve as Vice President. I would be absolutely thrilled if she accepted, as well. We'd be able to have the best of both in that scenario. Obama is youthful and very idealistic, and Hillary is one tough bitch that knows how to get shit done in Washington. However, as Obama admitted in his speech last night in North Carolina, there have been bruised feelings on both sides. It is because of this reason that I just can't see him ever offering her Vice Presidency, or for that matter her accepting the offer.
If it all comes down to this, I'll be sure to keep my fingers crossed, however.
I agree with you, mostly. It'd take some serious ego-swallowing for him to offer and her to accept. And despite public personas to the contrary, they both have egos the size of the electoral map.
