Bluebottle

The kid usually referred to as 'Bluebottle' is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Rejects'
clique. These are students who possess abilities which are considered disturbing or alarming, and which result in them having problems
connecting with their peers.

Bluebottle has a mutated physiology which is a combination of aspects of human and housefly DNA. On one hand, this has given him a wide
angle of vision, the ability to walk or crawl on vertical surfaces, flight over limited distances and the ability to spit acid. Unfortunately, on the
other hand, it has given him long, stiff bristles which act as sensory organs on his forearms and calves, oversized, segmented eyes, large fly's
wings on his back, and a toothless, puckered mouth. Unfortunately, as part of his altered physiology, he has to dissolve his food before he can
eat it.

The tragic thing is that, aside from his hideous mutations, Bluebottle is a kind, friendly, considerate person, and tries very hard not to make
people uncomfortable with his appearance. He was born in the UK, and transferred to Eisner because his family felt they were best able to
deal with his condition. He is younger than most of his fellow students, but is highly intelligent for his age.

Cassie

Cassie is a student at the Eisner Academy. She's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Anti-Heroes' clique. Some (though not her)
would regard her as the clique's leader.
In appearance, Cassie is an Indigenous American teenage girl, a little on the short side with a spiky haircut that looks like she cut it herself.
She has a fondness for bulky hooded sweatshirts in a variety of native patterns.
She's an accomplished pickpocket with an extremely high degree of manual dexterity and sleight-of-hand skills, but whether any of this is a
result of her superhuman abilities is unknown as she has so far not disclosed what they are.
Cassie tends to be very protective of her friends an is somewhat suspicious of outsiders.

Entropy

Entropy is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Anti-Heroes' clique.
Entropy has the ability to disintegrate matter with his hands. The extent of this ability is so far unknown, however, he suffers from a lack of control,
which makes it difficult for him to interact with his environment. His main problem is that he cannot control this power, which makes even ordinary
tasks extremely difficult.
Recently, he appears to have discovered a way to extend the entropy field into a bubble which he can shape with his hands at a distance. This
field is less powerful than his touch-effect ability, and is capable of causing localized energy drains, spontaneous breakdowns or weird
coincidences. Since developing this ability, he has become prone to minor, but odd synchronicities, for good or ill.
He has adopted a fatalistic, resigned attitude to his condition, but struggles with depression.

Jack Flash

Jack Flash is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Anti-Heroes' clique.
He's a pyrokinetic who can generate and control flame. The extent of this ability is, as yet, unknown. He tends to use this ability frequently to
show off. He also has some enhanced physical abilities including enhanced speed, agility and dexterity, and can direct flame towards his feet
and project himself through the air in odd, spasmodic leaps.
Jack is somewhat hyperactive, and a bit of a show-off, and can have a limited attention span at times.
He has been known on the odd occasion to 'self-medicate' in order to be able to relax.

Jigsaw

Jigsaw is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Weird Powers' clique.
Jigsaw is a teleporter capable of transporting all or part of his body. The extent of this power is unknown, but it is believed that it operates
by somehow 'folding space' because his teleported body
parts are still fully capable of acting as though they were still attached to him. A teleported hand can still feel and grip, for instance, a
teleported eye can see as though Jigsaw was looking at the
scene from the point of view of the eye.
Unfortunately, as a side-effect of the ability, Jigsaw's power is always on, and random parts of himself are continuously teleporting to
random locations for brief moments. Not only has this made certain physical activities difficult, but it's also resulted in him having an
outre physical appearance that many of his fellow students fight disconcerting. He's not as angry or resentful about it as some of the
other members of his clique, but he does enjoy using his powers to freak people out.

Jinx

Jinx is a student at the Eisner Academy. She's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Rejects' clique.
Jinx's powers are luck manipulation. Unfortunately, the more she pushes her luck consciously in one direction, the more of a backlash she's
likely to receive at some indeterminate point in the near future. In addition, even when not using them, her powers are always on, resulting in
a near continuous stream of weird happenstance and odd coincidences. She'd kind of over the whole thing, and would really like to find a way
to make it go away.

Mister Tokyo

Mister Tokyo is a Japanese Supervillain and arch-enemy of Clay Soldier. He possesses no powers but is an accomplished criminal mastermind
with a genius intellect.
He has a form of genetic dwarfism, but despite this condition, he is a relatively accomplished hand-to-hand combatant, instantly calculating
momentum, force and vectors, and combining this with his training in aikido to overcome even far stronger opponents. He has a tendency to
dress meticulously at all times, usually in formal attire, but changing this depending on the needs of the situation.

Polecat

Polecat is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Rejects' clique.
Polecat's power is the ability to emit a violently pungent and acrid cloud of vapour that acts like a combination of tear gas and sulphur.
Unfortunately a side-effect of his power is that he has to make a conscious effort to not smell bad.

Ribcage

Ribcage is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Weird Powers' clique.
His superhuman ability is to expand the bones in his ribcage, bursting them out of his torso and grabbing people within them, kind of like a
giant Venus Flytrap made of bone.
His well aware of how freaky and terrifying his powers are and kind of plays to that.

Slate

Slate is a student at the Eisner Academy. He's an unofficial member of what's considered the 'Anti-Heroes' clique.
In appearance, Slate looks like a roughly-carved statue made of a bluish-grey, stonelike material. He has enhanced physical abilities - strength,
durability and resistance to damage. This condition also has a number of negative side-effects. His fingers are clumsy, his sense of touch is
limited, his rough-textured skin tends to wear out clothes and furniture, he finds speech difficult, and he can find movement difficult.
As a result, he tends to be antisocial, and adopts a sullen, withdrawn demeanor.
