People who simply need to have their priorities straight.
On the way home from Wifey's graduation party, my cousin had some car problems. Her alternator had died and she tried to make it home on the battery alone. Possible if it were daylight but night had fallen and she was draining the battery every minute.
I didn't get on her about it because how was she to know? She sees the battery light and knows something is us. Next time girl, make a phone call. :) Not to mention the fact her husband at (frequent) times can be a real ass.
She was stuck where the car finally died, about 50 miles from home (and about the same distance from me) from about 9:30 until 1AM when her husband and father brought a trailer to haul the car home. The worst part was when she called her husband she was asked, "Where are you going to stay for the night?"
So she told him she would call her dad, the right choice.
This guy (her husband) just doesn't think. His idea of supporting his mother is giving her his entire paycheck without discussing anything with my cousin. The mother has no job so it's his job just to cough up the benjamins?
With school a meer month away, the kids need supplies, school clothes, maybe some shoes. But to him, he's the dank and she's meerly taking out a loan.
"If I give you this money what do I get in return?"
"Two educated kids, dumbass."
He spends money like water and at time I don't know what keeps afloat. His latest endeavor... an $800 german shepard male puppy.
She talks as if she plans to leave him. I won't pry or push, but secretly I have no idea what she ever saw in this guy.
