trans story
My dad suggested starting from scratch and seeing where that took me. (Like fanfiction of my own work.) I think it's a good idea, though difficult. But writing's not supposed to be easy, is it?
I also have some Thoughts about the ending. I don’t like how it ends with them together. I want them to get married because they feel like they should and then have it end because they’re just not suited for that kind of relationship with each other. But then they stay together, legally and in the sense that they live together, because they do love each other, just not that way. I feel that that's more true to their characters, and doesn't feel quite as Disney (er...if Disney made films about trans folks).
I like the word "oasis."
