From what I've read, not sure what to make of him. I mean it's safe to say it'll be a Conservative pick. But as far as Conservatives go, he doesn't seem as bad as some of the others out there. I won't like the pick regardless, but I'll have to wait and see if he's the lesser of the evils.

Smurfs is going to be bad. I think I shall refuse to watch it on principle.

I think he seems pretty bad. From the reaction I got from my friend, Aaron who's a law student in Boston and really was following this, he was one of the worst picks on the table.

I was also reading up about him, and it seems pretty bad... esp his stance on Roe v Wade and his belief that religion should be in schools.

Fuck. Hadn't read that.

I did read a bit about his position on Roe v Wade. It's extremely conflicted. On one hand, he tried to get it overturned as a lawyer. On the other hand, he said he did so on his client's behalf.

Then he said there's nothing in his personal beliefs to make him want to overturn it, saying it was done and should be left as done. Then he says he's Catholic.

So I don't know what to make of it all. But I'm not getting a good vibe from it.
