So The Good Ship is now at voyage 136! *waves flag* In honour, I've written a ficlet, found at the bottom of this post. I'll be changing the top post info on it as well.
And, we got a cord to hook up that "friggin' computer microphone" that I was so frustrated with. For some reason, it got its own tag. I must have been really angry about it. Anyway, it's working now, and I am so excited. (!!)
J and I film our House scene tomorrow, and tomorrow is the last day of school before Thanksgiving break!!
Oh, and DarfurFast might be my graduation project. But I must talk to my principal tomorrow about it.

Summary: Hermione examines her favourite photographs and talks a bit with her hubby Ron.
Author's Notes: Written in honour of voyage 136 of FA's Good Ship.
Hermione Weasley -- she still, after so many years, thought it sounded terribly odd -- flopped without grace onto the squishy sofa of her family room. The fire was lit before her, and on the mantle were several pictures. Her favourite pictures.
The one Hagrid had taken of the 'Great Snowball Fight of 1994' -- the Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione hadn't been aware of Hagrid's presence. Hermione watched herself laugh, duck a snowball, and then call out to the boys that she was going in to get ready...for the Yule Ball. That part of the night she might want to forget.
The one in the mahogony frame was her wedding picture. She was surprised how much she liked it. At Ron's request, she only styled her hair; she didn't attack it with SleakEasy or attempt to calm the bush -- and yet she still liked the picture.
There was a picture of Hermione's parents, standing with her on the beach of Australia. Mrs. Granger's eyes were full of tears. This picture didn't move, and it didn't have to. Hermione remembered Ron snapping it just after Hermione undid the memory charms she had placed on her parents for their protection.
Hermione almost fell off the couch when she felt Ron's sudden weight next to her.
"How're you?" he asked, sounding a little concerned.
"Just tired," Hermione assured him. "Do you remember that day?" she asked him, pointing to the fourth picture on the wall.
Ron looked at it. "Yes," he said. "We were thirteen."
"You were thirteen," Hermione corrected.
"Our first trip to Hogsmeade. And to think, if we weren't feeling so bad for Harry, we wouldn't have done it together."
"We must have really been a pair at school," Hermione sighed. "We always fought."
"Yeah. Harry hated it. Told me more than once."
"We rarely fight now," Hermione pointed out.
"Yeah." Ron grinned. "Marraige thing?"
"I don't know - Harry and Ginny fight more often now that they're married."
"Well, for us, it went backwards. I'm glad."
"Me too."
"I'm so glad I married you, Hermione."
"I love you, Ron."
They leaned in as Rosie flew into the room, shrieking, "SMILE!"
Snap! A blinding light --
As she took the new photograph from her daughter, Hermione thought she may have one more favourite picture to add to her wall.
