【 十五 】 ｄａｙｓ ｔｈａｔ ｎｅｖｅｒ ｌａｓｔ
[ This is a day in the life of Japan! He's a busy little bee, and now that Mayfield is back to normal and life has resumed to it's typical Mayfieldian self in their town, Japan is going straight along with it. Today, he can be found in several different places at several different times. ]
A [ Early morning! Anyone walking up to or passing by 1245 Williams Road will find Japan in front of the house, sweeping the porch with a broom, complete with slightly girly apron. If he notices you walking up to him or passing by, he will stop for a moment to bow politely in greeting. No matter who you are. Even if he doesn't know you. ] Good morning. [ And then discreetly and calmly continue. Housemates will also find him sweeping inside the house, either the living room, the kitchen, or the hallways; anywhere on the first floor outside of anyone's personal rooms or bedrooms. ]
B [ Late morning to early afternoon! Japan will be spending his time in the Cosplay Cafe, mostly; when he's not during breaks, he's be in several places doing several things; at the counter, standing in the front and greeting new arrivals when others aren't, checking up on their supplies, making a grocery/shopping list, planning errands and working on the calendar for the next few months because he likes to think ahead and keep himself busy, or simply walking around the cafe and watching from the side, checking to make sure that everything is going well. Normally he'd only be wearing his business like suit, but today he decided he's in the mood to cosplay some butlers, so he's wearing this. Glasses included. In this heat, yes. He doesn't seem to even notice... gotta love them nation bodies! ]
C [ Late afternoon! Shocking as the idea may be, even Japan takes breaks sometimes from his work, but it's only during the later hours of the day that his official breaks are, as he had arranged the times; and it's only from the cafe where he takes breaks and relaxes. By which we mean he doesn't relax at all and is instead hard at work with his new job as a lawyer! He can be found at two places; one, sitting in one of the cafe's tables somewhere, this time in a suit- but still with glasses, just different ones- surrounded by books and paperwork, which are pretty much piled up and covering the table. And he's currently hard at work at the latter. Overworking himself? Of course not! It's not like he has too many to complete in even a day or anything! (He does.)
That, or he's in the backyard of 1245 Williams Road, practicing being a lawyer. Yes. Practicing. By which we mean he's wearing one of his suits again, except a nice black one, glasses, and generally looking like the most stereotypical lawyer ever. He doesn't seem to be doing anything at first except staring very hard into space and apparently concentrating very deeply on something. Then suddenly he points dramatically at nothing at all and yells very loudly- ]
Objection! …I do not know what is it that I'm objecting to, b-but I will think of something!
[ beat, and a sigh as he lowers his hand ] Ah, this is more difficult than I thought... [ obviously, this is the best practice for lawyering. ]
