Prince Dorrek VIII knocked politely on the door to the room Prince William had claimed for himself in the small apartment. It was unlike any kind of residence Dorrek had stayed in before, but it suited their purpose for the time being and was easily defensible. His conversation with Xavin-who-was-not-Xavin had left him even more confused and frustrated. And then there had been what he had read of William and Xavin's conversation. The other Prince had seemed so appalled that Xavin would imply that he was Dorrek's beloved... Perhaps he had been interpreting their interactions up until now entirely wrong. He wished Kl'rt were here to give him some advice, but as it stood he could only hope to fix things up in a professional manner to save their political relationship, if not their private one.
