I would just like to state for the record that I believe the Major 7th is a particularly pleasing chord.

And it often sounds very good when it you hammer on to the Major from there.

I went to see Golden Compass last night, and was blown away. That is one of the best realisations of a fantasy world I've ever seen. Easily up there with Peter Jackson's LOTR movies, and much better paced.

Blue King Brown (support band 1)
Excellent band. One to watch out for. Wish I could have heard them better.

Tortured Soul (support band 2)
Not bad before they got self-indulgent. Closer to techno dance than soul, though. Was happy when their set ended.

Cat Empire
Fab. Great music to bounce to.
