Many of them don’t like to associate with him much unless they have to because he’s kind of running their family name into the ground, but he’s still the youngest of the family at the moment and gets treated that way.
First impression - “Miss, you seem like you’re extremely lost and confused... wait, um, why are you hiding?”
TEN TRUE FACTS AND A SECRET -
1. Feliks has big aspirations that are usually changing constantly and going against what others would want. He’s willing to take up any goal... just as long as it's not laborious, (‘laborious’ in Feliks’ dictionary being: lifting anything over 10 pounds, standing for longer than his body permits, thinking of lifting anything over 10 pounds, anything related to cleaning, and/or doing something that may risk smudging fresh nail polish). It’s safe to say that the drive for goals, which Feliks’ would mark up as laborious, do not last for more than a day, because...
2. Feliks is lazy. Coming from a very rich and renowned family Feliks hasn’t had to do anything on his own for... ever. Even though he was kicked from that lifestyle and into the fending for himself life he still hasn’t acquired any skills with such things. He’s useless in a kitchen, very shabby on common household knowledge... very shabby (he still hasn’t touched a broom and simple things like how to change the light bulbs or take out the trash just don’t make sense to him, and don’t try explaining it he’ll just lie saying he knew that all along, of course he did…) He has found that hard to deal with because finding people to do all the work has been so much more difficult!
3. Feliks was raised with perfection in mind and seems to have done everything in his power to go against that. Having come from a small but rich family, and being an only child, Feliks is their pride. The Łukasiewiczs’ want Feliks to carry on their wealthy name, though being rebellious in nature Feliks has been anything but an obedient, and perfect, heir. His parents kept him sheltered and pampered with high hopes that he would go on to be the next president or a powerful CEO and, even though he certainly has the ego for either of those jobs, Feliks has never had the attention span for them. He gets bored very easily and needs constant entertainment. His over active imagination gets the best of him and guides his actions. He struggled through school, not because he couldn’t have easily passed every subject, but because it was way more fun and challenging to not do schoolwork, and instead doodle all over his tests just to see the teachers’ expression. From this, and his free way of thinking, he is usually taken as being very naïve. Though, his less air headed side comes out when he gets serious and focuses on something, though it doesn’t often show itself and it takes a lot for him to get that way. So, even if his parents will disagree, Feliks’ cockiness comes from the fact that he believes himself to be nothing short of perfection.
4. Feliks doesn’t miss that old life. He did live the life of comfort and fortune, but Feliks had to deal with the constant disapproving looks from his family and had an even harder time fitting in outside of them. He’d never been one to fit in with the other boys in school. He found that he’d rather not go sliding through dirt and get his nice clothing messy or would rather draw things like pretty ponies then go climb a jungle gym and get his palms all sweaty. This continued much the same through his life. His fighting back ended up getting him expelled from his prestigious high school, which sent his parents over the edge, and the second he did get his high school diploma he was sent to America in hopes that such a change would force him to get his act together (though it still hasn’t seemed to have changed anything. Plus, he very much likes the fat checks his parents send him every month, that he only spends on… school supplies…)
5. Feliks is very competitive, and will not back down from whatever tries to stand in his way. Whether it’s just playing a board game, or who can get to the car first, or a contest the person he’s competing with doesn’t even know they’re a part of, Feliks has to win. Being short sighted, from having been so pampered growing up, he sees nothing wrong with mouthing off his, very strong, opinions and ideas and so does bring a lot of trouble on himself. He has no problem with that though because he’s confident in any challenge. He loves to use tricks and childlike antics to get his point across and will become quite the pest if you end up on his watch list (and yes he does keep tabs on such things). So, he’ll always have the last word and even if he’s getting pushed around he’ll continue to fight back.
6. Feliks is very shy however... his big mouth and smug expression make this seem untrue, but from being so judged and criticized in life he’s developed a shyness upon first meeting people. He worries about the next threat he’ll have to stand up to and really, he would just like to be accepted by others. So, once he does actually find those people that will he instantly attaches to them, very quickly, and will stay that way… for a long time. There’s no getting rid of him. He’s too full of himself to understand other’s feelings so he doesn’t see what’s wrong when he’s being too pushy or intruding in his friendships, but he puts every amount of effort into being the best of friend that he can be.
7. Feliks is very possessive. Having been bullied through the years, and raised as a snob, he’s always kept a very close eye on his things and doesn’t like having anything taken from him. He won’t allow just anybody to handle what he would dub as his, and it’s a great show of trust if he does, whether it’s the new slew of clothes he bought or if it’s something that doesn’t even belong to him at all but has just decided in his head that it is.
8. Feliks is very passionate! About everything! He’s a very upbeat person and finds great joy in many of the small things in life. Whether it’s snack foods, new things, or simply pony related, he will openly share his joy for it. Just as long as it benefits him in some way he’ll be happy. He can also find the humorous in any situation, though that can cause problems because he shows no sympathy for how serious that situation is... at all. He adores his nationality and his culture in particular; and sometimes likes to stubbornly not use English or pretend he doesn’t know it at all. Even though he’s been enjoying his time staying in America he does, at times, miss his home. He’s very attached to his hometown, Warsaw, and has a ‘slight’ obsession with it, wishing every city was exactly like it, exactly… like it. As a young kid, before his family moved into the city so that it would be easier for him to start his education, he was used to being around wide open fields in an easy going farm life and does miss that at times, finding such an environment relaxing and nostalgic in a way.
9. Feliks talks like a thirteen year old girl. Feliks does not skimp on his ‘likes’, ‘totallys’, or ‘totes’, he has the reputation of a rich, valley boy to uphold after all. He loves to emphasis on all the things he rants about, and to get his strong points and insulting nicknames across more easily, and Feliks is all about doing things more easily. Having spoken like this since he began rebelling against his family’s wishes and those of his male peers he would rather, like, totally gag himself with a spoon than talk any different.
10. Feliks freely cross dresses. Girl clothes ARE more fabulous after all and Feliks is all about the fabulous, and always has been. He’s found great enjoyment out of being different than the normal boy, having never fit in with that group in the first place, and can’t help but feel more comfortable in such clothes. Enjoying the freedom he has with being able to pick what he wants to wear without worrying about what’s normal or what’s appropriate, never having been the one to follow along with what others expect of him anyway. Over the years, as his confidence and cockiness has grown and grown, it’s become a sort of hobby for him. He doesn’t care what others think of it or himself for that matter.
Secret: Feliks is actually very lovable. He rarely shows this, because he’s too busy trying to keep up his cocky and smug image. But, he does hold a soft spot for kids and animals and he can be very affectionate with people, if he feels he can trust them, and will treat them like they’re his whole world, even though he has a very warped, seemingly rude, way of showing that. He doesn’t like to show many others this side of him because he feels it can make him seem weak. But, despite how impulsive and unsocial he may seem, he does hide a very caring side and is constantly kicking himself for some of his behavior.
