Exceptionally Dry

It's raining this morning- which has to be good because April was exceptionally dry. One of the TV stations showed us a map of the UK which graded areas by the amount of rainfall they'd had during the month- with white for average, blue for above average and deepening shades of brown for dry, very dry and Saharan. I think we had maybe half an inch of rain on the 30th, but up until then we'd had no measurable rain at all in April. So yes, exceptionally dry...
