Exceptionally Dry
It's raining this morning- which has to be good because April was exceptionally dry. One of the TV stations showed us a map of the UK which graded areas by the amount of rainfall they'd had during the month- with white for average, blue for above average and deepening shades of brown for dry, very dry and Saharan. The only region that showed any blue was the northernmost coast of Scotland and our corner of the country was the darkest chocolate.
