Medical update
I saw my neurologist yesterday, February 14, and it turns out that DSHS won't authorize the use of Botox to use to inhibit the muscular contractions in my neck that are hurting me so badly. Hell, DSHS wouldn't authorize an appendectomy for someone on Medicaid, these days -- no point in keeping someone that useless alive, you know ( Read more... ) -

I called my neurologist's office today and asked them about talking with my neurologist about Botox. They're actually going ahead and getting an authorization for it now, and are trying to fit things into their schedule such that I can get injected with it next week. So far, so good. I'll update this as events unfold. -
