As I'm sure you all know, yeterday, here in Seattle, we got inundated by snow. Today we got rain -- which turned all that snow into slimy slush. Rumor heard at Northgate Transit Center: lady was out jogging yesterday morning wearing only a white tank top, skimpy red shorts, and jogging shoes. At 7 a.m. . . .

I was on a bus the other day, and found myself sitting behind a familiar man of about 30 who is somewhat developmentally disabled and, between him and me, a frowning, obese boy of about 15.
