Thank you for the link. The atomic bomb tests at the NTS were a very big deal to those of us living in the Basin. Some people in the neighborhood would go visit friends who lived much closer to the NTS so they could get a chance to see the tests up close and personal -- stupid, but most people back then didn't know diddly about radiation and radioactivity.
