Finagle rides again
I think one of the USB ports on my computer is dying, or, at least, messed up. My gorgeous new HP scanner/copier/printer suddenly started acting up when I tried to use the Copy function, and also kept insisting I had a paper jam when I tried to scan something and wouldn't let me scan. So I unplugged it from the USB port where it had been plugged in and plugged it back in in a different one, and it seems to work fine. So either the port is messed up, or the electronics accessing the port are, or something of the sort. No problem -- I've got plenty of USB ports. I just hope this doesn't mean my computer's wearing out.
