Casey Anthony, a 43-year-old man from Darby, Penn., says he's "not the Casey Anthony you think." But having the same name as the 25-year-old woman who last week was acquitted of killing her daughter, Caylee, is enough to generate hundreds of Facebook messages, posts and friend requests from people who want to share with him their thoughts about the controversial verdict, according to NBC Philadelphia.
That so many people are that stupid doesn't surprise me, but it's still extremely depressing, just the same. If this trend holds true worldwide, the extinction of our species isn't as far off as one would like it to be.
