Life still busy busy busy
My dad's appendix burst about 2 weeks ago and he was taken to St. Louis for emergency surgery. They kept him overnight and then did the surgery the next morning. He was alot worse than they thought and they had to take out part of his large intestine also. He was in there for a little over a week. He's still really sore and in alot of pain but he's home. Actually we're back on talking terms again. Maybe he's starting to realize that I'm not backing down. Or maybe it scared him to be so sick. I dunno.
We bought 25 chickens (already laying eggs) and a rooster. That's been fun :) Actually, we're having more fun with it then I thought that we would. We bought chickens a few years back and it was not fun at all. They were just alot of work and no return. Now we're at least getting farm fresh eggs and Allie is having a blast gathering eggs every day. :)
Lily got thrush and Allie got bit by a tick which got infected and spread to her lymph node. I guess cons of living out in the sticks.
I still haven't seen my doctor yet for the baby! I had to reschedule my appt. on the 15th because of my dad being in the hospital. I had to wait 3 weeks to get that appointment and now I have to wait another 3 weeks to get in again. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that it takes 3 weeks to get in to the doctor's office. By the time I get in there I'll have already had the baby. Grr. I am thinking about switching doctors. It's just hard because that's where I had Allie and Lily.
We got to spend time with Manda. I really missed having her around. Then that turd turns around and moves to Ohio. I'm going to kick her :P
