So I'm in Greeley, CO.
1- Brenna and Nick are awesome. They were CD/ADing the office and are one of the sweetest people I've met so far.
2- Charles M-iles is saweeet. He's been what has been keeping my sanity and making working here worth it..we have awesome conversations and it's pretty solid having someone around/on campus to talk to about NOT work.
3- Tonight we went to his little's house. Brett lives way the heck off campus and loves to cook. He's Hawaiian. He cooked like, Korean steak with rice w/ the option of Kim Chee and green onions. It was served with some red wine. WOW. This is awesome. I suppose these would be the moments that you live for---not stressing out over a job that you never intended on taking on / are not passionate about. Alas, I have learned quite a bit and more importantly, met some amazing people along the way that has made the experience all worth it.
4- I miss the East Coast. This job may have tainted the CO experience, but I am 110% convinced it'll all be different after the election.. :D
5- CO is absolutely beautiful.
