My take on all this talk of a US Torchwood, should it make it into production:
Okay idea - if it's just a new branch and we still get a UK series, sooner or later.
Possibly okay - if it's the only TW TV production but has strong development from its UK origins, looks and feels like a continuation not an unrecognisable replacement, and so long as it isn't made into something all shiny and mass-US palatable and then quickly ditched altogether (given who's moving in on it, this latter seems entirely possible).
Argh - if it's the only television TW we get, what with BBC drama budget cutbacks and all, and it turns out the way I fear.
But a very big ARGH that it's Fox getting its mucky hands on it in any shape or form. ARGH!
In other news,
Good review of the Girl Number 9 DVD from Den of Geek. Impatiently waiting for my copy to thunk through the letterbox!
And I'll be losing my 'The Bill' virginity for Gareth's performance in it tomorrow at 9-00pm on ITV 1 (I've only watched clips of the Garethy bits from his previous appearance on the show).
