You too, huh?

So, I enjoyed that quite a lot, just not as much as I thought I would. Being spoiled really does take the edge off. When will I ever learn *rolls eyes* . My biggest squees came from the Master enjoying the Teletubbies, and Ann Widdecombe saying she fancied Saxon - she just went up slightly in my estimation!

And the Torchwood references, of course - Jack calls and there's no-one home :o Why aren't they home? Because the Master has sent them off on a wild goose chase to the Himalayas :o Ye gods, can you imagine the moaning and complaining about that?! I hope they weren't camping. Well, of course they'd be camping. Poor Owen *snerk* Poor Ianto *cuddles* Are they Yeti-hunting? Always was scared of Who-yetis.

So, are we to understand that Jack didn't have anything to do with Torchwood until post-Canary Wharf? He remade TW, changed it (and thank god for that!) in the aftermath, in the Doctor's honour (although as the Doc notes later when Jack is all for sneaking up on the Master whilst wearing the Key and bashing his brains in, that makes him sound like the TW of old). Hmmm. I'm really not buying that. We know how long he's been back on Earth, we know he's been positioning itself in order to catch up with the Doc at the most convenient timeline point (and he didn't know what that was until he saw it). So, has he been involved with TW for a long time but keeping his head down until such time as they blew it, enabling him to take over? Or did he really step into the breech only after Canary Wharf? It's perplexing, but not a BIG reveal. And as a spoiler ho, I'd been led to believe there would be something huge about Jack to be learnt in this ep. Conclusion, we were conned (which would serve us right, in a way, for being impatient); or the reveal has slipped into the final ep...

It's certainly no secret that Jack loves and admires the Doc, so surely that wasn't it...

And Jack was channelling Ianto again, calling the Doctor 'Sir' and making the cuppas ;)

And again, it's no secret that I love John Simm, and I'm thoroughly enjoying his Master. Flirty with the Doc (he likes him saying his name - but it's the way the Master says this that is so oooooh! And 'Are you asking me on a date?'). Opening and closing the door with mock horror to listen to the screams as the Toclafene killed off that woman. Offering his missus a jellybaby - hee! Clasic Who. Daft and menacing, all at the same time. And he's bonkers, official. Stupid Gallifreyans, tsk. "Some would be inspired. Some would run away [our Doc]. And some would go mad." It's not the Master's fault he's fruit loop, is it... Gotta like him, the voodoo child, even down to the gorgeous red lining of his coat (cape flashbacks!)

Mrs Saxon is a fruit loop too - is it just hubby's evil influence or is she completely barking and eek in her own right?

'Bye 'bye Mr President Elect, that'll teach ya :p

The laser screwdriver is bigger than the Doc's sonic, but will it prove to be better? Ageing our hero via the Hand and the Lazarus experiment was neat; although Time Lords don't age in the same way as we do... But let's gloss over that.

I still kinda wish Rusty would let someone like Moffat or Cornell write these super climactic episodes though...

Excuse me whilst I warble...

Baby, baby, baby!
You are my Voodoo Child - my Voodoo Child.

You're like Voodoo baby,
You just take hold.
Put your cards on the table baby,
Do I twist do I fold?

You're like Voodoo honey,
All silver and gold.
Why don't you tell me my future?
Why don't I sell you my soul?

So here it comes - the sound of drums.
Here come the drums, here come the drums

Baby, baby, baby!
You are my Voodoo Child - my Voodoo Child.

Don't say maybe, maybe
It's Supernatural - I'm coming undone.

Baby, baby, baby!
You are my Voodoo Child - my Voodoo Child.

Don't say maybe, maybe
It's Supernatural - I'm coming undone.

You're like Voodoo baby,
Your kisses are cold!
Feel your poison running through me?
Let me never grow old.

You're like Voodoo honey,
My pictures you stole,
You play me like a puppet.
Sticking pins in a doll!

So here it comes - the sound of drums.
Here come the drums, here come the drums

Baby, baby, baby!
You are my Voodoo Child - my Voodoo Child.

Don't say maybe, maybe,
It's Supernatural - I'm coming undone.

Baby, baby, baby!
You are my Voodoo Child - my Voodoo Child.

Don't say maybe, maybe,
It's Supernatural - I'm coming undone.

(Its Supernatural I'm coming undone.)

...here come the drums, here come the drums.

Baby, baby, baby!
