Gen V wishlist and expectations...
Serebii has officially announced that the first details on the Generation V games will be getting released on the 11th, along with a "shock announcement". Sorry if there was a topic similar to this before, but all the excitement and hype is too much to contain in just one body, so I need to share it with the community. My question is, what are we hoping is revealed? What are we hoping will be in the games? What are we expecting? To sum it all up in one question, what is our wishlist for Generation V? I most definitely have a few things in mind:
• The return of secret bases and/or the return of being able to decorate your room. The ability to personalize a hideout of yours basically.
• The new region to connect to an older region for you to explore after the initial Elite 4, a la Johto/Kanto. I would love to return to Hoenn/Sinnoh, and to just make things a little more unbelievable, I would adore the ability to be able to visit all of the previous regions after beating the Elite 4.
• A graphical makeover to match something like the Pokemon Ranger series would be nice, but at the same time I've always though that the graphical look they've had since the very beginning has always had a certain charm to it, so I'm on the fence about it.
• A completely new and groundbreaking Pokemon App. The previous three were great and all, but I feel that PokeGear could have always had more, PokeNav was pretty forgettable, and PokeTech had too much.
• A rad new crime syndicate, and preferably two syndicates that rivaled each other, since I really like the whole Magma/Aqua thing.
• New Pokemon type.
• Somehow, someway, make the GTS not suck please.
That's all I can think about right now, but I'm sure there's a million more things I can't think of, which is why I can rely on the power of the community. So everyone else, what are you all hoping for?
