UK Shaymin event, and cloning Event Pokemon on DP
I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but if anyone in the UK isn't already aware, GAME are doing a Shaymin event in April, for which the details are here (scroll down for the list of stores & dates).
I heard somewhere that the Shaymin you get from the event have a special ribbon that stops them from being traded on the GTS. Can anyone confirm that this is possible - has it been done before, with other event Pokemon? If so, how does it work? I mean, does it come up with an error when you try to offer them for trade, or what?
Does that mean there's no way of cloning them without a cheat device?
Edit: Apparently the Shaymin event is happening in other European countries as well. There's information for Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark here, and apparently there will also be events in France, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
