hehehe yah... neither of my friends can drive but they live in a City and don't need to, where-as I live in a town and my job REQUIRES me to drive. :D
and seriously tho... after seeing how the event is run... it honestly would NOT be hard for them to do it in Canada... and even if they don't want to spend money making more wifi info boxes... they could just have the event one weekend in the states, and then the NEXT weekend in Canada. It honestly wouldn't cost them anything at all to send those boxes to Canada. and I think they're lazy.... :D
Thats awesome that'd you are so devoted to Pokémon that you would drive to another country for one. I would probs drive to Canada if they where giving away something cool up there.. I wouldn't want to go by myself though.
I got three Darkrai myself. I have Diamond, Pearl and another Diamond I bought to use my Action Replay on. I have Modest, Calm, and Hasty. I soft reset for the Hasty.Just cool to finally have a real Darkrai.
:D The darkrai I mentioned above weren't even all the darkrai we got! those are just the ones that got ferried over to me... and yah my friend took her friend's DS and cartridge for the day... so including that one I think we got 12. :P None of my friends have a DS but if I had thought about it earlier I woulda brought anyone else's game along for the ride. :D
and yah... no way I would have gone by myself. A) it's better to have someone telling me where to go while I concentrate on driving. and B) it's just more fun with a bunch of peeps!

it was kinda funny actually when we would do the trade... they'd have level 7 starter pokémon ... and Darkrai! lvl 50!
I was super impressed with the 12minutes of gameplay to get the pokédex... as there is SO MUCH TALKING that takes forever at the beginning of the game.

Dang! They need these events in Canada! (and elsewhere for other places that Nintendo seems to hate. :c )

Same with my Pearl game. XD Level 15-18 pokemon, and now BAM, level 50 Darkrai!
