So I just got back from seeing "Hairspray" and strangely I think I'm in one of the better moods I've been in a while. I think that's why I like musicals. Sure the plots are cheesy and the acting is usually questionable, but they always cheer me up. After getting called into work on one of my only days off, it was a pleasant surprise to end the night watching a really good movie. I mean, in musicals, even when things are going horribly wrong and there seems like there's no hope for the main character, they still sing and it you know that somehow everything will be alright. And that's pretty awesome in my book.

Anyway, so Christopher Walken + John Travolta = Hilarious couple. Until you realize that the 300 pound woman singing is actually that dude from the movie in the 70s. And don't get me started on the sex scene. Overall, I think the movie need something. Perhaps... more cowbell?

Speaking of things from the seventies. I along with others, had a blast at Eli's party, despite the mediocre quality of my lactose free mudslides. Alcoholic critiquing aside, it really was probably one of the best times I've had. Craig's party was good, but then again, Eli's definitely ended with more of a SPLASH. Who knew we all had such a wild STREAK. Ah... I love words, and good times, and great people.

Those parties were just as fun as the ones Lori has. I mean it was an honor just to hear of them, but to actually attend one of her infamous bashes was, orgasmic. Crazy wild escapades everywhere, and I never really was into costumes but man. Wow.

I also hit up Dave and Buster's the other day with a few work pals. And I must say, despite their anti-21st celebrations for me, I like the establishment now. Ultimate Tennis, Air Hockey, and Mario Kart Racing, awesome! I highly reccomend the latter for anyone who goes. Just remember if you order a shot, you get to keep the glass, don't forget it on the table like we did. Yeah.

Also, I am probably, most likely, hopefully getting a beach house with the work crew from August 4th to the 11th, so if you're free that week, you should definitely stop by. Good times should be had by all!

Finally, I'm sending in my deposit for going across the Pond sometime next week, and that means it's final. No turning back. But I'm excited. And it will be an experience, if nothing else.

And with that, I think I'm off. Goodnight.
