“Mulder.”
“Scully.”
“I’m only saying this once... I’m stuck.”
“What?”
She looked down and he followed her indication. Her suit jacket was zipped into the fly of his pants. He let out a short puff of an awkward laugh, a little high pitched.
He tried to unzip his pants, struggling, the small confines of the closet making him feel even more trapped. He stopped trying and brought his eyes to meet hers. She gave him a look and tried to unzip it herself.
“Maybe we could cut it out,” he told her, straightening his position and trying not to get turned on by the bumping of her hands against him.
“We’re not cutting my clothes,” she snapped.
“We could always just walk around like this,” he suggested lightheartedly with a smirk. “But that might raise some suspicions.”
“Oh, like they don’t already know,” she replied and suddenly gave a sharp tug to her jacket.
There was a ripping sound and she stepped away from him. He looked down to see her jacket was slightly frayed. Mulder looked up and her eyes met his.
“Unstuck,” she said and left the closet first.
