[There is a GIANT GYARADOS in the ocean. It is twisting, turning, and causing a whirlpool of excitement as it races around, exercising as much as it can

[Lance's eyes widen slightly at the charge, but Gyarados has acted by now, sliding onto the beach to snarl at Monozu.
Lance quickly gets out of the way again, confident that he can handle such a pokemon, but he holds up a hand to attempt to get her attention, voice calm, but firm.]
Get back here! [And nope, Feraligatr is not listening (is that a beach can I play on it) to his master, who is chasing rather comically after the creature, finally skidding to a stop at the edge of the water.] I didn't say you could--
[Lance blinks as a Feraligator runs past him, grinning a little at the excitement -- pokemon should relax and have fun once in awhile, especially on a beach -- until he pauses.
[And Gyarados raises himself to his full height to snarl down at Silver. He won't attack without Lance's expression permission, but that doesn't mean he can't terrify the living bejesus out of the little punk first.
Sorry, Silver -- Lance's pokemon can be kind of dickish.]
[Not too far from there, a certain blond Champion is taking a stroll by the shore with her own giant sea serpent, ice cream in hands and eyes set on her friend as Milotic dances about in the water, humming a soothing little tune.
And while the commotion does startle both Pokemon and trainer at first, seeing Lance by the beach is as much of an explanation as they need.]
[Don't mind Lance -- he won't notice you until you say something, Bill, though Gyarados has already taken notice of the Pokemaniac watching his awesome whirlpooling.]
[Yeah, but this Champion is perfectly friendly and humble, so he won't mind too much.
Gyarados pushes himself onto the shore, lowering his head to the ground, so Lance could pat him. Only Lance could manage an affectionate moment with a giant angry sea serpent. But, in this moment, Gyarados growls to Lance, and he glances over his shoulder to finally notice Bill with a smile.]
