[He didn't answer, instead staring at her as he kneeled down, picking up the pokeball and gun. He holstered the gun and released Ruru.]

Ruru, baby, I think I've finally lost it. I'm not seeing things straight anymore. You have free reign to do what you need to to keep us safe.

[Ruru looked from Ruby and then to Sapphire, freezing herself. W-what, why are you...?]

[Ruby is...watching her, but he's not sure if she's THERE. Right now, he's just trying to squash his emotions. He trusts Ruru. She was the best with long distance attacks and understood when Ruby simply was not able to battle.]

[There's definite a tone of hysterics in there, if barely restrained. Ruby has had a while to work under stress, so he's pretty sure he's just having that break down he was expecting to come like so many others.]
