[A missing face from the island turns up in the CMA today, surrounded by Pokémon. Besides the congregation of characteristic faces of such known favorites like Ambipom, Typhlosion, and Togekiss, among his others, there's also the inclusion of a Rhyperior, Staraptor, a shiny Aron, and a certain smug-looking lizard. He, and his other Pokémon, seem to be looking over those four inquisitively.]
Man... Never thought I'd see you guys again... Hard to believe it's only been a few days for you all, huh? [He runs his hand under the Aron's chin.]
But a few days or a few years... That doesn't matter! If you're gonna be part of my crew, then it's time to get you into shape! I can't have you laggin' behind the others like that! It's time for some trainin'!
[Gold's Pokémon let out a unified cry in response. He was back on the Island.]
