[In a small clearing, there's a girl and her Larvitar! What are they doing, you ask? Training, my good male/female/genderless species. Training.]
Okay, Peri! Can you whip up a Sandstorm for me? [The Larvitar yips, nods, and promptly promptly proceeds to roll around on the ground. What he creates is less of a sandstorm and more of a miniature duststorm, but he's at least got it whipped up nicely.]
That's, well... it's a good start, sweetheart! Looks like all of our practice has been paying off, huh? Good job! [There's a paper bag sitting at her ankles. She now reaches into it and pulls out a... well, it's a clod of dirt. But not just any clod of dirt! It's a dried mud pie, one of many that she's made to use as training treats. She tosses it up in the air above the Larvitar's head, calling out:] Catch it with a Bite!
[The Larvitar responds quickly, jumping up and clamping down on the treat, breaking it neatly in two.] Aah! Wonderful, Peri! Absolutely wonderful! [The girl continues to shower the Larvitar with praise until he's finished with the treat. By the time he's done eating it, the "sandstorm" has faded down.] Now... give me your best Scary Face!
[The Larvitar nods seriously, and makes ... this face.

Okay, so it's not even remotely what she's looking for. But it is hella adorable. So she's just going to squeal and swoop down to give her Larvitar cuddles, just the same as if he would have made the scariest Scary Face that was ever scary.]
