[Black storm clouds roll in from the ocean, painting the sky ominously dark, even though it's the middle of the day. Lightning arches between clouds as the ocean churns from the winds

[Terra frowns. That perpetual storm looks awfully familiar...]

[Doesn't it, though? Recognize the tiny!quaza in the middle of it, yet?]

[Oh, yes, she does. And she's gonna do the stupid thing and walk right into it.]

Hello, Ziz.

[skies_ablaze]

[He looks at her and snarls, failing to recognize her. With a snap of his teeth in her direction, lights flash in front of her eyes as he uses Shadow Panic.]

[terra_et_sol]

[She staggers a little, raising a hand to her forehead]

What... why did you do that? What was that?

[She's never seen that move before. Never been to Orre = no Shadow Pokemon]

[skies_ablaze]

[That would be Shadow Panic, it causes confusion to all opponents. He roars, and one of the black twisters changes direction, heading on a collision course toward Terra.]

[terra_et_sol]

[Terra manages to stumble out of the way, trying to focus. She slams a hand into the ground, trying to use Eruption - but it backfires and blasts her back, leaving her sprawled on the ground.]

[skies_ablaze]

[She left herself open. The tornado speeds toward her, ripping up the ground and nearby trees as it closes in to tear her to shreds.]

[terra_et_sol]

[She grits her teeth as the winds tear at her and assumes her true form to keep from being tossed about. There's now a very large, shiny Groudon sitting there, and she tries to fire off another Eruption. It fails again, the flames whipping back toward her on the wind and the light reflecting redly off the clouds.]

[skies_ablaze]

[Ziz suddenly rushes her, body surrounded by dark purple energy, aiming to slam directly into her with Shadow End.]

[terra_et_sol]

[Her head still hasn't cleared, but she twists partly out of the way, taking most of it on her shoulder. The other hand comes up - and this time the Eruption attack goes off properly, headed right for him.]

[skies_ablaze]

[The flames envelop him and he shrieks, but it doesn't do nearly as much damage as if could have due to her not being at full health. He shoots off another Shadow Storm, the twister forming from the clouds above her.]

[terra_et_sol]

[But now her head finally clears - she rolls away, the ground shaking beneath her, and fires off something she knows will really hurt - an Ancient Power attack, aimed dead center. She speaks, her voice the low rumble of a Groudon, but in human language out of habit.]

I'm sorry, Ziz. But I can't let you win. What's happened to you?

[It hits dead-on, as expected, but before he can hit the ground, he's enveloped in light and vanishes.]

I think that's quite enough. [Comes Ein's voice from above her, held in the talons of a Crobat, in his hand is a dusk ball, the one that Ziz had vanished into. He puts the ball away and pulls out an empty ultra ball.]

But I can't possibly pass up an opportunity to acquire another of the Hoenn titans. [He pitches the ball at her, but doesn't really expect it to work on the first try.]

[She bats it away and shrinks down into human form again, holding her shoulder.]

I'm afraid you're going to have to let this one slip by. [She looks around - it didn't even occur to her to check whether her ability took effect while she was in her true form.]
