Hmm...it's nice...

*hasn't noticed Cresselia yet, but on closer expression, he doesn't seem as angry as he usually is*

((ooc: Deep deep deep deep down Paul is...not so angry and mean? Eh, let's go with that. After all, his brother did say once that Paul isn't really that big of a jerk, or something like that. So do the characters notice that they act off than normal or do they not realize it until the next day?))

*She's musing to herself more than anything, but is loud enough that she can be heard.*

It's not a total eclipse... just enough to where the shadow makes it look like a crescent.

The shadow that covers the full moon~... what a lovely union~.

*and now he's noticed Cresselia, who he sort of recognizes, mostly through gossip since they are hardly in company at all. However, he can sort of feel that something's off, which makes him a little nervous, but he isn't showing it. yet.*

*Jirachi cranes his head back to watch the eclipse, awed at the sight, and yet...frightened. He furrows his brows and clutches at the front of his coat.*

*Cresselia finally looks away from the eclipse, and a quick glance around the area shows her Jirachi. She approaches him, her expression completely unreadable.*

Jirachi?

Is something troubling you~?

*He doesn't answer at first. He's so absorbed in his thoughts that Cresselia's question falls on deaf ears. A quick side glance in her direction makes Jirachi jump, and yelp quietly.*

That wasn't my intention. Forgive me~?

((OOC: So I just spent the last few hours trying to figure out what 'hidden aspect' would be brought out of my lot. And so far, I've only just now figured out Darky's. :C ))

*So a lunar eclipse, huh? Darkrai remembered a time in which such an occurrence was feared by the humans, who didn't understand it; Who were confused by it. Why was the sun disappearing? It must've been black magic! Or... Or even worse... They had angered the God of the shadows, of the night, of the things they feared the most.

They had angered the God of Terror.

And as much as he may have tried to hide it, he couldn't deny how such a fear empowered him. That's right; They had better cower before him, try to please him, lest he lock them in an eternal nightmare of never-ending night.

So almost in an aimless manner, Darkrai wandered through the island like the ghost he was, gliding smoothly and effortlessly with a wicked, nearly maniacal grin curling his lips. Tonight was his night; A night of Terror.*

*And there was her trigger. Whatever 'power' was possessing her now, his presence around the island was strengthening it, though it had yet to fully bring out that part of herself that was surfacing.*

*He was summoned, but should he answer? He had promised, that much was true, but why come running like a servant? Still... Smirking, he vanished from his spot, only to reappear from the darkness behind Cresselia, his usually calm voice more unnerving tonight.*

*Something was off about him, that much she could tell. But she wasn't about to let it throw her off course.*

Tell me... why is it that the moon up there is hiding beneath the shadow of the earth, while the moon down here is completely out in the open, without her shadow~?

"Oh, oh my god..."
Rivai had woken up, only to find the eclipse happening.
"Oh, oh god, that, that does things to people, right!?"
The Galactic grunt stepped into the Central Meeting Area, looking bewildered and alarmed.
"It mentally fucks with things, right?!"
He shuddered.
"I felt a rock just fall into my stomach. I swear it. It, it, I feel like I've been removed from myself somehow. Like, like nothing matters, or, or, or, orororor things are just left over from a time before when everything used to mean s-something..."
His face twisted into a terrified expression.
"I've been cast out of the Team. Discarded! Trashed!"
He whirled around for no reason and yelled up at the sky.
"I NEVER NEEDED ANY OF IT! Fine, I'll go get arrested some other way!"
He whirled around again, puffed out his chest, and strutted, but the closer he got to the forest the less confident he became.
Open. He would feel...open if he went in there. Exposed to attack. That's what Galactics did to their ex-members. He was certain of it.

*Cresselia watches Rivai curiously. She'd seen his dreams before - very odd dreams, at that - and watching him act just as odd in reality was actually somewhat... fascinating.*

Rivai gulped and turned around, shuddered again, shook himself all over, and it was when that he saw Cresselia, just barely. He froze, a look of heartbroken terror paralyzing him for a moment.
"You..." he whispered, taking a step back. "Please tell me you're not who I think you are."

He shook his head, took another step back, wishing he had his Pokémon. Was this what their victims felt like, this awful twisting ache of helplessness?

"I know they're here. I know they're watching. Same thing happened to Rownin. The, the rumors. He went to go see his parents again. Just for a night, he said screw the Team. And, and he never came back."
Rivai let out a little scream and buckled to his knees. He really did think she was a Galactic undercover. But at the same time, he...
"Please don't go away."
He enjoyed not being the only one.

*She eyes him, her head tilting to the side. It was kind of an odd sight, seeing somebody usually so - for lack of a better word - crazy acting so paranoid, and very much like a scared child.*

The moon never goes away~.

*She steps closer to him.*

There are times when you may be unable to see it... when it ducks below the horizon as the sun comes up, when it has turned its dark side to us... or when it is merely eclipsed, as it is now~.

But it is always there.

An angry dragon is never good for anyone's health, especially one with very little control over his actions.

There's a hyper beam there, taking out a tree, and a loud roar as the titan of the skies tears across the island, leaving destruction in his wake. It seems nothing will stop him now.

*She watches Rayquaza, not at all fazed by his violent behavior.*

...my, someone is certainly angry tonight, aren't they~?

Rayquaza stops and shifts into his human form, a crazed look still in his eye.

"The sky isn't lit. How dare they take away my control of the sky?" He snarls, even though his logic makes no sense.

There are still stars to light the sky for you, and yet you are angry because there is minimal moonlight~?

*She lets out a chuckle.* I must say, your logic confuses me, Rayquaza~.
