"Flaafy fla flyr aaf fy flafyl fflflaf FLAAFA."
I demand an explanation for this BULLSHIT.

At least Rivai has pants.

Ha ha, bikini kid.

Ha ha.

[Absol!Dawn, having seemingly run for hours (or it feels like that to her anyway) is collapsed under a nearby tree, hiding in the shadows and panting heavily as she tries to get her breath. How do Pokemon do this kind of stuff regularly? She lazily looks up at the sound of a new Pokemon and spots the Flaffy.. wearing some very odd garments?]

R-Rivai?!

[This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder, and Dawn is so close to officially cracking up right now. She just needs to go rest her aching legs, sleep, and hopefully wake up back as a human.]

He hadn't taken note of the Absol, not even the scarf, which caught his attention for a moment, or the hat. He hadn't even ever seen an Absol before, and figured it always looked like that. Rivai fluffed up his wool.
Wait. Why did he keep doing that? He saw a little G on his wool collar and cursed.
Typical. So god---

It spoke?!
The Flaaffy-grunt whirled around, or tried to, but the tail got in his way and it not only tripped over it but whacked himself in the thigh.
That voice...

"Dana?"
No...
"DAWN!? Why do I keep running into you?!"
Rivai's face hardened as much as a pink woolly sheep's would.
"Don't you say a word," he snarled under his breath, feeling very certain he looked more ridiculous than usual.

[Dawn smiled weakly, although coming from this Absol's face it looked more like a grimace.] Its a small island Rivai. We're bound to run into each other every now and then.

[She shut her eyes, leaning her head back into the grass.] Don't worry I won't be saying anything to anyone.. [Dawn glanced away, looking rather upset.] In fact after today, I don't think anyone will be speaking to me again, so you've got nothing to worry about.

[Is it alright if I go on doing the whole quotey thing? I know that's different from what everybody else is doing, but it's just kind of how I've learned to type, and since there aren't any humans in this topic I kind of assumed they'd basically be talking anyway. Not actual human word, I mean, but, err...]

"...Alright. A small island. Yeah, okay, that makes sense, but I'd really like to know who the h---"
Oh, oh wait. Rivai blinked his sheepy eyes in confusion as Dawn acted all upset-like.
"Oh. So it was you, then?"
He suddenly sat down. It was weird, doing that, because everything was so short and stubby. And that tail...he tried to wave it around but wasn't very good at it.
"Well obviously you didn't mean it, right? Because otherwise I'd have to start electrocuting the hell out of you."

In truth, Rivai was glad that she wouldn't tell anyone this bastard of a Galactic grunt had turned into a cute little pink sheep.
It would kill him.

((ooc: Sure! ^^ I tend to change between the two styles myself actually.))

I don't even know how it happened, I followed my recipes by the book, just regular ingredients nothing out of the ordinary for the food I made, and perfectly ripened berries out of my own stock for the poffin. I don't know how it happened, but it seems like everyone who ate from my baskets ended up like this..

And the deities.. [Dawn cringed a little, as if expecting one of the to pop out and attack her.] They've all turned human. And as you can guess, they're not too happy about it. [Dawn began to tremble slightly. She's already practically a nervous wreck, and the heightened senses of Absols, being able to sense disastersm is not helping things.] I don't want to do this anymore, I just wanna go home! Even Cyrus and his deluded goals are starting to make more sense then this crazy island!

"Hmm."
Without thinking he swiped a handful of grass and began to chew.
"It's chaos theory, I think, how everything will go wrong at some point. Everything is naturally unstable."

"But it seems to me," and here Rivai tried to lean back on his elbow but his chubby body and short pudgy little arms made it impossible so he just sat up again, "that..."
...
He spit out the grass and flailed his little arms around.
"Shit it tastes like fuckin' PUNCH!"
Mood swing.
"What were you saying? Oh yeah, well, the way I see it,"
Rivai was distracted by a lone blade of grass that stuck to the end of his nose, "is that leaving here would make us miss the whole point of being here. But I want to go home too. There isn't much, but it's what I know."
Her trembling didn't bother him very much. Maybe it was because Mars did that so much.

"I hear you mention Cyrus a lot. I mean, given what you've done it shouldn't be all that surprising, but what about anyone else? The commanders? They haven't left a mark on you at all, or is Cyrus a mindsticker?"

Dawn looked up, blue eyes locked on Rivai as he randomly chewed some grass. That reminded her, she hadn't eaten anything since the yesterday at her little picnic. As if on cue, her stomach grumbled and she blushed slightly ( ... )

He was certain whatever Dawn was was a carnivore. That made him a bit uneasy, but he was sure he'd be able to put up a defense if she ever attacked him for some reason. Bop her on the head, just like that weasel song or whatever. That light's gotta be hard, you know ( ... )

Dawn laughed suddenly, "Twisted huh? Maybe I am, just a little." Finishing off the berry she noticed her legs weren't in pain as much anymore and she tried stretching them out a little, "I have even found myself wondering what his world would have been like you know.."

She glanced away, "If he had succeeded." She shook her head, the scythe making a slight swishing noise as it moved. "Not exactly a proper way of thinking for a Champion." Then again, she hasn't acted much like a Champion since she gained the position.

What his world...
Rivai pulled up another handful of grass.
"Everyone has. I think that's why Saturn joined in the first place. Everyone wants to know. Curiosity."
He chewed and swallowed, fluffing his wool again, but at seeing the scythe actually move he leaned back.
"...I'm really glad we met first, girl. I feel in debt to you, and that's something no one has heard from Rivai Waites in years, otherwise I'd probably be throwin' you around by your skirt and harassing the daylights out of you."
He stood up.
"Champions aren't supposed to act any one way - the public wants to be surprised by the real them."
He actually had no idea what he was talking about but he figured he would make her feel a bit better that, at least he wasn't expecting her to act a certain way.

Dawn glanced at Rivai, looking a little happier, "You really think so?"

A surprised look passed over her face for a moment "In debt to me? What for?" and then she smiled, but it looked better then before, even on the Absol face, maybe because it was a genuine smile, "I am.. glad I met you too Rivai." As bizarre as Rivai was sometimes, it was nice.. just having someone to talk to on this island.

((ooc: Don't worry, me neither. xD Do you want me to end it? I guess I gotta let Dawn's Pokemon find her sometime or other.))

Dawn chuckled a little, "Yeah, I guess you're right." She looked a lot happier now.

[Sure, go ahead and end it.]

This day was really weird. Aside from his state of self, he actually felt good that he'd made her happy.
Which wasn't like Rivai at all.
He stood up, trying to suppress an urge of great violence.
He wanted to kick her. He wanted to hurt her. Just a bit. Just enough for him to run away and go back to being a jerk, the person nobody was glad to have met. But he couldn't, not in this body. He couldn't do anything and it was killing him.

"I think you should go away, Dawn," Rivai said, as clearly as he could.

She smiled sadly, not looking affronted one bit and stood up, "Alright. It was nice talking to you again Rivai." And with that, she ran off back to her cottage. Her Pokemon must be worried sick, and she can't avoid them forever.
