On the beach today is Red, his charizard Eleanor, three charmander and four turtwigs.  Red's on his back, tickling and playing with the babies, snuggling contently.

[Y as Jun's Turtwig, who was walking with Jun along the beach, spots the other Turtwigs and Charmanders and rushes over to see them, leaving Jun attempting to play catch up, but Turtwig doesn't seem to notice as he greets them all cheerfully]

[Red looks up at Jun, smiling and waving in greeting. One of the turtwigs approached, excited to see turtwigs besides his siblings.]

Another turtwig!

[Jun waves back as well once he's caught up, pausing to catch his breath] Man, Turtwig sure can run fast...

[In the meantime, Turtwig grins, oblivious to his trainer at the moment] Nice to meet ya!

Hahah, considering what they evolve into, it's pretty surprising!

[Well, a young Growlithe dares to approach! He apparently smelled out this group a while ago, because he's joyously scampering over to the babies and immediately going to sniff them out!]

Ahah, a growlithe... nice to meet you, buddy.

[Headpat from Red while one of the charmander babies squaks at the fluffy visitor.]

[Growlithe barks cheerfully at Red before trotting over at the Charmander that called for his attention, immediately giving that Charmander an affectionate lick.

Meanwhile... a very exhausted-looking Paul is coming up, not aware of the scene he's about to come into, and is way too tired to keep shouting at Growlithe to slow down so he can keep up. Paul's probably been running for like... forever. All sweaty and dude why does he never take that jacket off?]

Ah, Paul! Met your brother, turns out your torterra is the dad of these guys.

Cute growlithe! Want a leash for him?

[Rotom happens to be floating around probably because it got bored with Charon's lectures again. It spots Red's group and zips over them with a gleeful shriek, immediately interested.]

Rotooo! Rototototo!

[The babies all pause, looking up at the strange new creature!]

Whoa! What the heck is that?

[Rotom floats down close to the babies, circling everyone in turn. It waves its arms up and down, grinning at the group all the while.]

Rotom! Rotom! Rototototo!

[One of the charmanders laughs, grinning toothily.]

The heck are you?

[Might as well roam around . . . since Mesprit senses something about today . . . She sees Eleanor first and waves happily.]

Ah, hi there, Eleanor! It's been a while! [And now she notices Red and the babies.] Hey, Red! Oh, the eggs hatched! They're all so cute! [She smiles at the babies . . . but she's very curious about them. She's never really been close to baby Pokemon before, so she's not getting too close.]

They certainly are! Hahah, there's only one girl in the whole bunch, and it's one of the cute little turtwigs.

Ah, I see! [Mesprit gulps nervously, holding her palms to her chest. This is strange for her, to be nervous around Pokemon . . . but it's probably the fact that they're babies that makes her the most nervous.] Um, is it alright for me to meet them all? I-I've never been so close to baby Pokemon before . . . I'm feeling a little nervous . . . and I don't want to hurt them . . .

Hahah, don't worry, they'll be fine. If anything, you have to be careful to avoid the turtwigs' love bites or the charmanders' flames.

They sure are! 'Course I may be a bit biased, cause I had a Charmander and a Turtwig before as well.

I've never had a turtwig, but Eleanor was my first pokemon.
