Not bad, but I was promised aliens.
Just finished one of the routes in Muv-Luv.
It's... A high school romance comedy I guess.
Most of the jokes tend to be things based around how one of the girls is just comically rich. She does things like buy every house within a kilometer, or move the worlds largest luxury cruise ship from it's dock in Monaco halfway across the world just for a dinner for two, as a way of showing gratitude.
There are some others too, like their physics teacher who is some sort of insane genius and developing her own "quantum casuality theory" which apparently turned one of her students into a cat at one point due to multiple-world interference... Or something.
...I'm still wondering where the alien invasion that I KNOW will happen (I've seen bits of it) fits into all that. Because I know it will happen and there will be a giant conflict with lots of scenes that I'm not sure I want to see because I'm really bad with sad stuff, but I still love a good story and... Well, at least it will be better than just about every game by KEY Visual Arts which are really good but "Why are you trying to make me cry?!"
Dammit, I hate nakige... But I still love them. ;_;
EDIT: Just quickly hopping through an alternate ending and JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THAT MUSTACHE! (And that ending was kind of... "lolscrewu". Ending in the middle of... Nothing basically. It didn't even cause a cliffhanger to get you psyched for getting the proper ending. I'm glad I have a guide. If I got an ending like that on my first playthrough, and I probably would, I'd probably just give up on the game. >_>)
