Nothing kicks me out of feeling gloomy and anxious than the arrival of the Montepellier handbook. OMG, I am still so excited and I literally squeak whenever I get something in the mail. :DD I'm also pretty nervous about the prospect of spending 9 months in a foreign country but... well. I don't know how I'll feel when I actually get there. Now I just have to fill out a lot of forms and man, I'm glad there's a French Consulate in San Francisco. Makes things easier when I have to "apply in person" for my visa. Also, reading the handbook makes me realize I was way too ambitious and naive when I first made the tentative class list. More than one L3 Anthro class in French for that year? Ha. Hahahaha. I would die.
... I should really ask about my scholarship transferring over, shouldn't I. Um.
Again, things to do:
1. REREAD Linguistics paper before noon Friday. And come up with a 5-minute presentation of it before class Thursday.
2. Read 179 pages of Becoming Tongan DON'T DIE OF ANXIETY DURING SKIT come on, she tries to make the atmosphere relaxed during presentations, you saw that.
3. Read 50(?) pages of Les Soleils des indépendances during break.
4. Rework skirt so I can, y'know, actually wear it.
5. Polynesia paper due Wednesday after Spring Break; on Tongan. WTF IS THE SUBJECT.
6. Continue to eat actual food.
7. Pack before Friday; pick-up at 2:15.
8. In spare, blank moments, continue making random canonmate icons. :DDDDD
I wish I didn't tend to focus on what's directly ahead of me, instead of planning and plotting out what to do. I could have really used the two weeks we were given to do the paper, instead of... I have no idea what I was doing. I think I was still in a slump.
Also, this is a pretty, pretty song played during the terrifically emo episode of SEED. I. I was so resistant, and then they broke down my wall. xD
