This is why I should really learn time management

I wonder how many times I've used this icon.

Things to do:
1. Write more than one and 1/2 crappy pages of explaining the explanation of the Ozark dialect this weekend - present on Thursday, because of intense procrastination? Due next Friday, electronic (So he can tell if you used any tricks, remember.)
2. Read 179 pages of Becoming Tongan by Sunday, prepare skit(s) before Wednesday. Remember to take notes so the reading actually sticks.
3. Read 60-something pages of Le vieux négre et la medaille by Monday.
4. Get started on the damn skirt for costuming. That mermaidish design? Must remember to ask for base fabric first.
5. Polynesia paper due Wednesday after Spring Break; on Tongan instead of debate? Most likely.
6. Eat, godammit. Just because the food isn't up to your standards is no excuse for eating a single chicken breast for dinner a couple nights ago; instant noodles and cookies are not good substitutes. Also eat spinach. And stop staring at the computer screen all the time or you'll get eyestrain.
7. Stop feeling so apathetic.
8. Perhaps continue typing up canon? Please do not develop carpal tunnel.

My brain is on vacation already, I can tell. It's this apathetic "lol homework what homework you can cram, you always do," mentality that's developed. I skipped Linguistics yesterday because I felt so blah. I have no idea if this is a side effect of grief, but I prefer to blame my own lack of willpower. I want to go home. I want to go home and be with my family and yes, eat delicious homemade food and gain back the weight I've been losing. I really am a homebody at heart. What hell awaits me after graduation?

Also, a recap of this morning:
ME: Oh great, I got Herbie, he's going to be slow and hard to steer and blah blah blah for once I won't have a perfect lesson.
HERBIE: I'M FREEEEEEE LIKE A BIIIIIIIRD~ *totally takes off galloping*
ME: Oh shit-- *BAILS*
HERBIE: WHEEEEEEEEE 8DDDD

It is true that you learn how to fall after so many accidental ones. Landed on the fleshy part of my shoulder and slightly knocked the breath out of me, but I hit and rolled and didn't even bang my head. I try to think how I'm gonna fall if I manage to stay on the horse long enough, especially after one girl last semester fell and cracked her wrist. Tuck the limbs close to the body, hit the parts that will bruise and not break, if I'm not close to any other horses I'll try to cushion my fall. It was exciting, and after that he was back his normal self.

Sometimes I feel bad writing about my pathetic emo when there're other people I know who are going through actual problems, not just lol I can't concentrate. I wonder if this headache is from the cold, or because I haven't had any real food today?
