Note to female customers: You are free to hit on me more, though. Just. FYI. Or at all. It is SO HARD to figure out who even might not be totally straight in a religious town, ugh.

... Plus one of the guys who was flirting with me was also one of the guys who said I didn't look old enough to work there and always creeps me out when someone thinks "YOU LOOK UNDERAGE :D" is a good pickup line.
How does the back support brace feel? Is it comfortable, does it stay comfortable or start feeling like you really want to take it off after being in it all day? I'd definitely use it for cosplay, buuuut... okay I'm not trans but I'm mildly genderqueer/genderfluid, so I'd actually like to go out IDing as male sometime, and that's the major reason I want these things. So not daily use, but not just for cosplay either? I might wear it for just a day, or for a few, or something. KINDA HAD TO EXPLAIN, but. I'm not 100% sure if a support brace would work if I was doing anything other than cosplay? Hence being curious about how it works for you. |D;;;
And yeah, I'll have to make sure it's not constricting. :c They have advice on that site about wearing it for shorter amounts if time to get used to it, too, which I think is a good idea.

re. what you look like @ work: pfft, clearly those people are seeing something they like. But yeah, the guy who said you looked young, THAT IS KINDA SKEEEEEVY.
*tilts head* If you're planning to use it on a not-just-cosplay basis, then I think you'd do better with a proper binder, and not a back support brace. Use something that's actually been designed for the purpose ;)
You're right, I don't think a support brace would work so well for you: which was why I asked what it was for. ;) For me the back support brace is just a cheaper and more readily available solution, and I don't ever use it for more than say, 3/4 hours at a time, and at the very most, maybe three days a year. Hence why in my case, it isn't worth it to pay more for a proper binder, simply because I use it so seldom. I am sure that the correct support brace should feel as comfortable as a good binder, but generally, support braces aren't designed to be unobtrustive the way binders are, and they're bulkier, too, which makes it harder for you to dress. So if you intend to go out dressed in it, I think a binder's a way better choice.
*wry smile* I'm somewhat top-heavy and as a result I don't like wearing binders or support braces for long in general - regardless of how well they're designed they're never going to be comfortable for me simply because... well. *laughs* So I keep it to 3/4 hours maximum for cosplay, and usually I don't have on it for as long as that.
Wish you were allowed to try it before buying it, though! That's the acid test!
