I have the Thoth deck that I absolutely LOVE, but they haven't responded to me in like a year, so I'm sure you could get more use out of them than me :)

The artwork is really lovely and they're a little bigger than regular playing cards, so they're super easy to shuffle as well.

Oh you're a doll! I've been told that you need to receive a tarot deck as a gift, they won't work if you buy them.

When they don't work for me, I'll return them to you. :)

You've got to be patient with them, since they're going to be in a new place with a new person. Keep them with you constantly, put them in your pillowcase at night, they need to get used to you. The first week I got them, the two of swords went missing. A week later I found it in the middle of my pillow, so be careful with them.

I can't take them back if they don't work for you, i'm not 100% sure why I can't, I just know it's one of the rules, like not buying them for yourself.

Sounds like I need to do some research on them, I've never owned a tarot deck. Do they need to be touching me, or could I just keep them in my purse next to me?

Just as long as they're near you. Spend a couple hours a day holding/shuffling them though. Once they get used to you and you get used them, it'll be like second nature.

What made you want to get a tarot deck?

When I was in high school, I began studying Wicca and other pagan religions. I was trying to find myself and figure out what I believe in. I stopped studying but what I learned never left me.

I want to, in a time of doubt, turn to what I feel connected with and have an idea of how to solve whatever I'm in. I had a reading done a few months ago and what was told to me just made me want to get more in touch with my aura and make new discoveries about me. Tarot decks absolutely fascinate me, and I've never let that go.
