Hello, I HAVE NEWS!
So sorry I havn't been very active lately. I've been busy with, like, life and all that.
But I have fantastic news!! After months of periodic begging and arguing with my mom, I did the smart thing and approached my dad separately for permission to do an exchange program... and he was all for it! So together we took on my mom, and now I'm officially maybe spending my senior year overseas!!!!
I'm so excited, I don't know what to do!.. No really, I have no clue what to do now D: See, when it was all just hopeful fantasy, I had it all planned out, but now that it's real... I have to actually make DECISIONS. Like what country to go to! (Switzerland! .. no Germany, NO WAIT TURKEY WOULD BE AWESOME. YES TURKEY YES.... wait what am I saying? I'll go to Switzerland of course, no two ways about it! *nod*. ... ... But German cities are so cool....) And also, what program should I go with (AFS looks the most legit, and has big group meetups for all the exchange students every few months! And it's very well organized and sometimes they have excursions and stuff... but if I went with IE, I would be able to pick the country I stay in! Plus it's all very personal and much much cheaper... but I wouldn't have as many fellow exchange student friends, maybe... OH I DON'T KNOW!)
So... yeah. Stuck right there. Hmmm..... Any advice flist?
