-So last night was E-mail Tuesday on FSN Florida. I only watched half an inning because I was busy watching a pitcher's duel (aka the Phillies get p4wned [or however you say that] by Shawn Hill).
ANYWAY. Besides the usual Fish shenanigans, like Miggy Cab hitting a home run and Hermy being useless,
blinding_voip tells me that Rich&Tommy recieved one e-mail that stood out from all the others:
[paraphrased, since I didn't hear it myself, only from what
blinding_voip told me]
Hi Rich & Tommy!
I don't get much of a chance to go to Marlins games, but I'm a huge fan! And tell Matt Treanor I love him!
-Misty
as in Misty May-Treanor. Awwwwwwwwww. They're so cute. :3
-I'm just as excited for the Eagles as the next actually sane person in Philadelphia, but I am sad about the Phils getting shunted to the side. Boo, over-hyped football team! Hooray beer competent Phillies!
Speaking of, they managed the win, and this one just means a lot more to me considering Kyle Lohse gutted it out, 118 pitches. I was half-asleep/sick for said game though, so that's my analysis at its finest for this game. Also, speaking of the Phillies, I had a (half-asleep type of) dream that Chris Coste was on the Devil Rays. And I was pissed. And my dad was pissed. And all the Phillies fans were pissed, and of course, the target of said pissiness was Pat Burrell. Um. I'm not kidding. I bet it was that cheesesteak I had for dinner that caused this weird-ass Phillies dream.
Article on Jamie Moyer getting to pitch for his hometown team.
And RIP Phil Rirruto Rizzuto. When you are a Yankee and everyone in baseball loves you, baseball and otherwise, no questions asked? You know you're doing something right.
-Also, Dirk Nowitzki simultaneously amuses and confuses me:
"We toured five weeks through Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti. With a rucksack. That was about the only place in the world where nobody would recognize me and I could move somewhat freely," Nowitzki stated. "At Ayers Rock a few tourists noticed me but the trip was just right to clean my mind."
Down under, the Dallas Mavericks star was looking for answers.
"I have been exploring the sense of life. I haven't entirely found it yet but I will keep looking," he said with a smile. -
