I wanted (and still kind of want) to be a funeral director! But I'd prefer dealing with the grieving relatives. I fucking rock at that. I'd need someone to be my embalmer. :D
I don't want to say that death fascinates me. But. It kinda sort of does.
It's a shame, because I can see why other people like it, and I wanted to get into it. It just bugged me too much. I think it's just my preferred genre of choice is crime shows (L&O, The Closer, Cold Case), and I can't get into "high-school" shows.
HAHA, I was actually thinking that. I was gonna write, "thewlisian_afer did write a fic that I enjoyed," but then I felt like I should link it, and I can't even begin to remember when it was from. Although you probably have it in your memories, dur. I think I "enjoy" R/S as long as it's not them in an established relationship. Or them having buttsex.
Death definitely fascinates me. Everything about it. Why people are or aren't afraid of it, the different ways they deal with it when they know it's coming (for themselves or for loved ones), how they deal with it once it actually happens to their loved ones, the way they interact at wakes and funerals... And also the physical aspects. How strong and how fragile the human body can be, the way it breaks down once it stops working, etc. But then, I've always been morbid. This is not new. People who know me are used to it. XD
Anyway, yeah. I definitely write your kind of Remus/Sirius. The interesting part is getting them together, so I don't write them in an established relationship. The closest I come to that is writing stuff in the time from PoA and OotP where they used to be in a relationship but aren't now and one or the other wants to be and blah blah blah. And I don't usually write NC17 fic, so if there is teh buttsecks (which is rare anyway) it's just implied and not graphic. :)
He's Mr. Nice Guy that EVERYONE loves. Makes me want to not comform even more. Just something about him makes me not want to commit to him, so to speak. Though he is adorkable. As your icon shows. XD

For some unknown reason the "things I dislike" part really made me smile. Which is odd cos I never even heard of the Mountain Goats, I've never watched VM or House and I don't know who Sirius/Remus are, oh and I totally agree that David Wright is not HAWT! Haha.
Having said that I do love Mister Springsteen. But that's all my Dad's fault, hehe. That is all.xxx

Actually, one of my favorite songs ever, "Blinded by the Light," was written by Springsteen. But I heard his version of it and I hate it. I love the hit version of it though, by Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
I don't know if I've ever said this, but even if I don't comment all the time, I enjoy your entries. I mean obviously the ones where you are upset, I don't take joy in. Ok, I'm not making sense. Moving on.
The mortician thing surprises me. Whenever I meet students at the morturary school, I always as them why they want to do this job if they're not part of a family.

I've never heard of The Moutain Goats. I've never seen Veronica Mars, I don't get what the big deal is about House. I don't know much about Harry Potter. Bruce Springsteen can sometimes annoy me and I've never though David Wright was attractive. I guess some people like the cute boy thing he's got going on.

I've been pretty good about separating the two. What goes on there isn't always the way I've felt in real life. I've never had a problem with you personally :)

It's probably because they're such popular ships. I can see liking them, but there's some people who are like X/Y IS SO AMAZING OMG OTP4LYFE! and I'm just like, "wow. really?"
