(no subject)
It's like, I pretty much know what I want to pack. But actually packing, bhat is a whole different story.
I wanted to try that meme ayrdaomei did, about fandom mini-mixes for characters or pairings from my fandoms, which is prtty much just sports right now. Or, at least I'm not invested somuch in Harry Potter that I coulud make a mini-mix. As a matter of fact, I never really did that even when I was totally into it. Put songs to characters, that is.
So then, Tell me a person/pairing from my fandoms that you'd like to see a mini-mix of songs for.
Two days of work left, then a day off, then I'll be on a plane to New Hampshire. :)
Also, not that it'll be anytime soon, but who would like to BETA a Marlins fic for me? I'd need it mostly for the story/characterization more than facts. Between Myr and myself we have facts covered. :P

When you come across an unfamilar pairing, or, one you usually aren't interested in, what determines if you read it? Title? Summary? The author's other work? The fact that there's not a lot of sportsfic to begin with so you'll take what you can get?
I'm sure this has been ask time before, but I was just wondering.
Oh, ha, I realized it's been an entire month since I've talked to Toni. She hasn't tried to call me or anything. I guess I'd been right; that she pretty much did think I was a disappointment. But I'm like, not even that hurt. I mean, I miss my brothers and stuff, but that's kinda it. This has happened to me so often that it's old hat. I'm not surprised at all.
