(no subject)
If there was an award for accomplishing NOTHING, I would win that award. And then I would have accomplished something, I suppose.
ANYWAY, mmmm last night I ordered Domino's (we just got one built in town back in November, I think) so that was fun. Me and some pizza and buffalo chicken and five glasses of water. My parents were at some thing in Gettysburg. I guess, there were supposed to be reenactments over this weekend but it's too wet and muddy. So they rescheduled it for next weekend, Gettysburg did. But there's some motorcycle thingum going on so all the rooms are already booked and the reenactors have no where to stay, and neither do the people who are coming to see it.
Speaking of rain and water and all that, boy am I glad that I live up on the mountain/hill that I live on. Usually I complain since we're out of the way of everything, that it's all woodsy and shit, that it's the last place where they clear snow in the winter But one good thing is that it never floods because we're on such a slope. But ugh, it sucks, supposedly everywhere else, where it's flooding...it's the worst sinc '85 and Hurricane Agnes. ALL the rivers are cresting, all the way from Philadelphia up to Wilkes-Barre. :(
Okay so I have to go back to work, and I was sorta scared having to be there without anyone who usually works there for a few days but I checked my schedule and it says that Cathy is going to be there this homestand. She was there opening night and not one day since, at least that I've been there. She usually is at the ice cream, but she always says hi to me when she walks past our stand, and she's so nice to me. So that'll be good. and AGH, I will find a way to get a pint glass tonight. Tonight they're Dutch glasses and I had been under the impression that my parents would be going; I'd asked them practically every night on the way home from Reading, but APPARENTLY they're not. >:[
I will get a glass.
Ugh, is it WRONG that I'm more interested in the Harry Potter fandom again? Like, I FINALLY want to read Half-Blood Prince, and I have a Snupin plot bunny in my head, although, it's not REALLY Snupin, more gen than anything. And I need to reacquaint myself with the series, just to make sure I get everything right. Boo I suck. :(
Hi to phoenixastraea who I spent basically all last night chatting with. It's fun to pass on the Germadian crack love to new members. :D
OH, those bug bites I had up my thigh and all over my ankle and here and there other places on my leg? Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're flea bites. :X But I haven't looked at the possibility of spider bites, so...it's yet to be determined.
