He'd spotted her by the stream from the hut and after changing, moved out to join her. His light linen pants were rolled up, as were the sleeves of his white shirt which hung open. It was bare as he could get in the island sun with his fair skin. "Want some company?" He asked with an easy smile as he approached her rock.

"I really like that shirt on you, have I ever told you that?" she said, stretching her legs out to dip her bare feet in the water. "White's a good color for you."

He grinned at her compliment. "Thank you. I never could wear white without a suit at home. I was so pale, it made me look like a ghost, especially after I lost my hair." He looked down at his arm that now had a healthy light tan that was mostly freckles thanks to his old red hair. "i guess I have the island to thank for finally giving me some color. Enjoying a quiet afternoon?" He asked with friendly curiousity.

She looked down at his arms, then her own. "It's the same for me. I used to be terrible pale," she said. Even now, her tan wasn't all that dark, at least not as dark as the amount of time she spent in the sun would seem to make it. "I am. You know how busy I can get with the club; it's nice sometimes to just sit a spell and relax."

Then he reached over and curled a strand of her hair around his finger, tugging it lightly. "It was a bit brighter red then yours, have you told you that? And curlier then a clowns. I think the meteor shower did me a favor honestly. Though us pale red heads still have to stick together." He nudged her carefully with his elbow, before leaning back on his hands. "You should have more of it. My offer to help still stands."

"I think I may take you up on that offer," Saffron replied. What with folks disappearing she was pretty short-handed. "What do you say to tending bar for me? I could really use one downstairs."
